Durell Anthony Fulbright, Seminole county resident, entered eternal life on September 11, 2014, he was 23 years old. Durell was born, November 21, 1990 in Wichita, Kansas to Melva (Noble) and Trim Fulbright, Jr. While in high school in Cromwell, Durell was a star 3-point shooter for the basketball team. He received many awards for basketball. He had a great sense of humor and he loved his nieces and nephews. In a letter his mother found, Durell said that he thanked God for his mom, dad, sister, Grandma Nobel and Grandma Fulbright. He also stated that he was thankful for Coach Hadley because he knew there wasn’t anything Coach Hadley wouldn’t do for him. Durell finished this letter by saying that he wanted to be remembered as the guy who liked to live life on the edge. Durell leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Melva (Noble) Fulbright, of Wewoka, Oklahoma; his father, Trim Fulbright, Jr. of Wichita, Kansas; two sisters, Erica Brown of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Danielle Brown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two nephews, Rusaad Graham and Damar Graham; one niece, Lyniiah Graham; and many family and friends. He is preceded in death by one brother, Eric Brown, and grandmothers, Georgia Noble and Maxine Fulbright. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at a later date at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Seminole, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
