Duane Moore, 53rnrnPassed away August 4, 2008, at his home, after a long battle with cancer.rnrnDuane was born June 21, 1955, in Chanute, KS to Wilma Aliene (Thompson) Moore and Wes Moore.rnrnHe graduated from Chanute High in 1973. He married Nancy Jo Finley on September 18, 1975 in Chanute, KS.rnrnHe moved to Seminole in 1988 to work in the Oilfeild industry for Baker Tool and Arrow Pump & Supply.rnrnHe is survived by his wife, Nancy of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Luke and Christy Moore of Norman, OK; son, Josh Moore of Norman; and three grandchildren, Cory, Tyler and Robin Moore all of Norman.rnrnOther survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, "Slim" & Susie Moore of Chanute, KS; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debi & Ed Donnenworth of Oletha, Ks and Carol & Tom White of Wyle, TX.rnrnDuane's mother-in-law and father-in-law, Shirley and Carroll Finley of Chanute, KS and one brother-in-law, Steve Finley of Chanute, KS also survive him, as well as a host of other family and dear friends.rnrnMr. Moore was preceded in death by his mother and father, Wilma and Wes Moore of Chanute, KS and by one brother-in-law, Kent Finley who died in 2006.rnrnThere will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 9, 2008; at the family home, located at 36238 EW 1210, Wewoka, OK 74884, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
