Duaine Allen MeGee, 66 year old former Konawa resident past from this life into eternal life on November 15, 2006 at his home in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He was born December 12, 1939 in Konawa, Oklahoma to parents Ray E. and Sadie (O'Hagen) MeGee.rnrnDuaine graduated from Konawa High School and later married Nancy Carol Noteware in Gainesville, Texas on April 3, 1970.rnrnDuaine lived in Konawa before moving to Weatherford, Oklahoma over 27 years ago where he owned and operated "Duaine's Auto Clinic" for many years.rnrnDuaine leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 36 years, Nancy MeGee of the home in Weatherford, Oklahoma.rnrnTwo sons, Shane Hunter of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and David MeGee of Weatherford, Oklahoma.rnrnThree daughters, Christy Griffin of Ridgecrest, California, Kimberly Slingerland of Moore, Oklahoma and Duaina MeGee of Weatherford, Oklahoma.rnrnOne brother, Dean MeGee of Weatherford, Oklahoma.rnrnTwo sisters, Betty Dooley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Judy Seigler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.rnrnSix grandchildren, Eddie Michaels, Kendra Michaels, Travis Michaels, Ashton MeGee, Jessica Slingerland and Braylee MeGee. As well as a host of other family and friends.rnrnDuaine is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Sadie (O'Hagen) MeGee and by one brother, Jerrell MeGee.rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Vamoosa Cemetery east of Konawa, Oklahoma on Hwy 377. Rev. Lindell Warren will officiate the service.rnrnCasket bearers will be: Shawn Bonner, Dan Slingerland, Doug Garren, Vince Polk, Bob Dooley and Donnie Seigler.rnrnHonorary bearers will be: Mark Dooley, Don Walton, Darin Seigler and Luther Cummings.rnrnDuaine was a man of few words, however, his true passion was for cars.
