Doyl Jackson Brown, 80 Doyl Jackson Brown, a Seminole county resident for 40 years, passed away at his home Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the age of 80. Doyl was born on December 30, 1932 in Tribbey, Oklahoma to parents, George Frank Brown and Minnie Jewel (Lane) Brown. After graduating from high school, Doyl attended college for two years and then joined the United States Army. After 21 years of service he retired from the military with the rank of E 7 and began a career as a Dairy Farmer and a truck driver for C & J Trucking. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Doyl married Patsy Jean Welcher in Colorado Springs, Colorado on April 26, 1954. Doyl is survived by his wife, Patsy Brown of the home; two sons, Johnie Brown of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Paul Brown of Seminole, Oklahoma; one daughter, Donna Borner of Menomonie, Wisconsin; two sisters, Vina Castro, of Jamestown, California and Faye Brown of Chickasha, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Shaun Borner, Chris Borner, Ryan Borner, Greg Borner, Justin Brown, Cole Brown and Jaycie Bowman and 17 great grandchildren. Doyl was preceded in death by his parents, George and Minnie Brown, three brothers, two sisters and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Allen Lewis officiating. Burial will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens of Seminole, Oklahoma. Casket bearers are grandchildren: Shaun Borner, Chris Borner, Ryan Borner, Greg Borner, Justin Brown and Cole Brown.
