Douglas Mack Price, 72, longtime Seminole resident, died Monday, October 20, 2014 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Douglas was born July 18, 1942 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Irene (Taylor) and Otto Price. Douglas was a Seminole Police Officer during the 1970’s. He also worked as a repairman, car salesman and a Nurse’s Aide in nursing homes in Salina, Kansas. He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and then in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Douglas moved to Seminole from Salina, Kansas several years ago and always loved to go fishing in his spare time. He married Janice Heins on February 3, 1981 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife Janice Price of Seminole, Oklahoma, His step-sons James Cochran and his wife Liz of New York, Reynold Cochran III, two step-daughters Sandra Cochran and her husband David and Patricia Cochran. He was preceded in death by his parents Otto Price and Irene Driskill, sister Barbara Iverson and a brother Jerry Price. No memorial service has been planned at this time.
