Dorthy Lee (Hailey) Slusher, longtime Konawa resident, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Kindred Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 77.rnrnShe was born October 28, 1930 in Sasakwa, OK to Alvie T. Hailey & Mamie Jane (Huddleston) Hailey.rnrnDorthy married Benny Slusher on July 21, 1962 in Gainesville, TX.rnrnShe was a loving homemaker and a member of Konawa Assembly of God Church.rnrnDorthy's generosity, kind heart and love of God were an inspiration to her family and all who knew her.rnrnShe is survived by her husband Benny Slusher of the home;rnrnone daughter, Debbie Wood & her husband David of Konawa; rnrntwo brothers, Gene Hailey and Dean Hailey, both of Tulsa; rnrnone sister, Peggy Sendell of Savannah, GA;rnrntwo granddaughters, Tiffany Dame of Seminole and Deanna Wood of Norman;rnrntwo great-grandchildren, Taryn Nicole & Braden Christian Dame of Seminole and a host of other family and friends.rnrnShe was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Otis T. Hailey; one sister, Lois Lawler and an infant sister, Billie Jean Hailey.rnrnFuneral services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Konawa Assembly of God Church with Rev. Steve Lowrance officiating.rnrnServing as casket beaers will be Sonny O'Dell, E.E.
