Dorothy Jean Wood, 44 Dorothy Jean Wood, lifelong Seminole county resident passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 44. Dorothy was born February 17, 1969 in Lawton, Oklahoma to parents Willie Bond Underwood and Rosemary Holata. Dorothy graduated from New Lima High School, she attended Bacone College, a member of the Ceyvha Band, Middle Creek Baptist Church No. 2 and a home maker. Dorothy is survived by her mother Rosemary Holata, one son, Chase Warren Wood, one daughter, Jessie Wood of Wewoka, Oklahoma; three brothers, Mark Smith, Eric Harjo, William Underwood; four sisters, Kathrine Underwood, Rosie Tiger, Bonita Underwood and Bonnie Underwood. Dorothy was preceded in death by her father Willie Bond Underwood, both her grandfathers and one grandmother. A wake service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Houston Tiger, Jason Tiger and Newman Crowe. Burial will be at the Ross Family Cemetery. Casket bearers are: Mel Lena, Bryan Keith Coker, Steve Yahola, Houston Tiger, Jr., Kendall Tiger and Chris Cloud. Honorary bearers are Roy Holata, Jeff Tiger, Ted Underwood, Tippie Underwood, Samuel Spencer and Nathan Harjo.
