Dorothy Murphy

Dorothy Mae Murphy, 77 year-old, Seminole resident passed from this life Friday, June 26, 2009 at Seminole Integris Medical Center.  She was born July 30, 1931 in Maud, Oklahoma to parents Oscar Samuel Mitchell and Marie Mae (Riddle) Mitchell. Dorothy graduated from High School in Gainesville, Texas.  She married Bill Autry and he preceded her in death in 1977.  She later married Jack Murphy and together they owned and operated “Murphy Electric” in Seminole for many years while at the same time they managed “Shady Acres Trailer Home Park”.  Jack also preceded her in death. Dorothy is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David Autry and his wife Melissa of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Lee Autry and his wife Robin of Arizona; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Kenneth Mitchell and his wife Jean of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Elery Arnold Mitchell of Norman, Oklahoma; several grandchildren and a host of other family and dear friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.  Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas at 3:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.   Funeral Information: June 30, 2009, 10:00 AM Swearingen Funeral Chapel located at 100 W.
