Longtime Seminole resident Dorothy Mae (Bray) Hankins passed away on Friday, August 8, 2008 at Sunset Estates Nursing Home in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 82.rnrnDorothy was born on January 10, 1926 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Jess and Ettie (Lee) Bray. rnrnShe owned and operated the hamburger hangout in Seminole for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Seminole. rnrnShe married Curtis Hankins on December 24, 1945 in Wewoka, Oklahoma; he preceded her in death on October 15, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Angela Davis, brothers, Jack Bray and twins brothers, Leslie and Wesley Bray, sisters, Ruby Berry, Jessie Ann Dye, Leona Maxwell and Ruth Houck. rnrnShe is survived by her son Curtis Randolph Hankins of Petaluma, California, daughter, Brena Hankins of Lexington, Oklahoma and two foster daughters, Patty Zigglehofler of Tennessee and Kim Zigglehofler of New Hampshire, four sisters; Wanda Street of Hennessey, Oklahoma, Betty Payne of Plano, Texas, Louise Dye of Odessa, Texas and Sue Robinson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. rnrnServices are scheduled for 11:00am, Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Church of Christ with Chris Stinnett officiating.
