Dorothy Laverne Corona, 50, Seminole resident died, Friday, December 5, 2014 at her home in Seminole. Dorothy was born on April 4, 1964 to Mary Laverne (McDaniel) and Hughie Rains, in Rockcastle, Kentucky. Dorothy moved to Seminole five years ago from Shawnee, Oklahoma. Dorothy was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her favorite TV show the Jerry Springer Show, and wrestling events. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Zaragaza Corona of Seminole, Oklahoma, one son and his family Andrew Taylor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, step sons Jerry Corona and his wife Angela of Shawnee, Oklahoma and David Cole, and his wife, Shanni, of Seminole, Oklahoma. Step- daughter Donna Tuggle and her husband Mike of Houston, Texas, nieces Vickie Haskins and her husband David of Seminole, and Carolyn Corona Palacios, of Seminole, and a nephew, Albert Corona, of Seminole. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Moreland officiating. The family would like to thank the ONHL, Home Health nurses, and staff, and the MacArthur Park Nurses.
