Dorothy Evelyn (Morrow) Anderson, age 87 and a former resident of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Seminole Estates Care and Rehab Center in Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 18th at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Tommy Azlin will officiate, and Laura Ford is the soloist. Dorothy was born on April 23, 1922, in Konawa, Oklahoma, to John Morrow and Mary (Blackwood) Morrow. Dorothy married Marion “Andy” Anderson on March 19, 1941, in Sasakwa, Oklahoma where they made their home. She and her husband owned their own barber and beauty shop. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one son, Clifton Anderson and wife, Shirley of Wewoka, Oklahoma; two brothers, Andy Morrow and Wyndol Morrow, both of Ada, Oklahoma; one sister, Bobbie O’Shea of Portland, Oregon; and two grandchildren, Carley and Kelley Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Anderson; her parents, John and Mary Morrow; and two sisters, Lorene Ogle and Tenzy Roberts.
