Doris M. Hudson

Doris M. Hudson, 92, longtime Seminole resident, died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Featherstone Assisted Living Center in Moore, Oklahoma. Doris was born July 26, 1924 in Boynton, Oklahoma to William Kime and Elizabeth (Greenfield) Kime. Doris was a homemaker and was a former member of the Harvey Road Baptist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. She loved scrapbooking and doing puzzles and “she always thought every puzzle she did was the hardest and someone had left a piece out”. Doris was married to Robert Harvey Hudson on March 30, 1968 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; he preceded her in death on January 22, 2001. Doris is survived by two daughters; Janice Lynch and Darlene Rooney of Moore, Oklahoma, four granddaughters and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and nine brothers and sisters; Mildred, Bob, Alice, Helen, Ruth, Elsie, Lillian, George and Fred. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, east of Seminole on Highway 270, with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating at the service. The family will receive friends and family at a visitation for Mrs. Hudson on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M.
