Doris Margaret (Prelip) Grant

Doris Margaret (Prelip) Grant, age 93 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at her home. No memorial services are planned at this time, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma. Doris was born May 23, 1922 at Kanawha, Iowa to Oda (Anderson) and Art Prelip.  She graduated from high school and was a member of the Catholic faith.  Doris worked for thirty-four years as a custodian for John Muir Junior High School in Burbank, California.  She moved to Oklahoma in 1998. She is survived by one daughter, Terry Rogers of the home; two sons, Gary F. Grant of Apple Valley, California and Gerald W. Grant; one brother David Prelip of Iowa; and two sisters, Dorthy Crotts and Florence Jensen. Funeral Information: July 27, 2015, 8:00 AM No services are planned at this time.
