Donna Kean

Seminole resident Donna Kean passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at her home at the age of 82. Donna was born on April 9, 1929 in Danville, Illinois to Eric and Mabel ( Smith ) Murphy. Donna married Jimmy D. Kean on October 25, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada. " Donna was a woman of exceptional character, grace and a deep loving spirit.  We will remember her smile, her kind wit and her strength in adversity.  She gave without thought of return, and sacrificed ceaselessly for those she loved.  God has taken her home. " She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Jimmy Kean of the home, two sons; Eric and Sherry Kean of Monett, Missouri and Ricky Kean of Wewoka, Oklahoma, sister and brother-in-law, Nina and Jerry Dalrymple of Seminole, Florida, brother and sister-in-law Kim and Lonnie Kean of Seminole, Oklahoma, four grandchildren; April Hadnot, Jimmy Zelin, Rebecca Kean, and Michael Kean. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eric and Mabel Murphy, daughter, Linda Zeien and sister, Lila Davenport. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery, Little, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be Lonnie Kean, Carrol Kean, Eldon Kean, Melvin Kean, Kyle Kean and Gerald Peeler.
