Donna Jean (Austin) Hobbs, Konawa resident, passed away Monday, July 16, 2007, at her residence in Konawa at the age of 55.rn rnShe was born July 20, 1951 in Midwest City, OK to Mark Austin & Norma Jean (Etchieson). She was raised in the Asher area by her grandparents. She had been a resident of Konawa since 1996. rnDonna worked as a private home health care nurse and was a loving homemaker.rnShe was a member of First Baptist Church of Asher and later attended Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Konawa.rnrnShe is survived by four daughters, Sherie Phipps and her husband David of Tecumseh, Tina Hobbs of Shawnee, Angela Hobbs of Konawa and Amanda Peterson and her husband Dustin of Konawa; rnrnOne brother, David Bertram of Oklahoma City; rnrnOne Sister, Debra Pataki of Konawa;rnrnThirteen grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Thomas, Lacey, Shakira, Taylor, Lance, Garrett, Jenna, Kenny, Alana, Devon & Bailey Jean and three great grandchidren, Hailey, Kaitlyn and Landon. rnrnShe was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Bryson Glen Hobbs.rnrnFuneral services will be held at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Wade Scott officiating.rnrnServing as casket bearers will be David Phipps, Dustin Peterson, Thomas Hughes, Wade Snodgrass, Dustin Hobbs and Taylor Snodgrass. Honorary bearers will be Lance Snodgrass, Garrett Peterson, Dustin Hobbs and Kenny Snodgrass.rnrnInterment will be at Vista Cemetery west of Konawa.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
