Donna Rose Crawford, 82, danced her way to heaven, when she passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. She was born on March 1, 1934 in Cromwell, Oklahoma to Floyd Allan Smart and Bernice Lee (Coburn) Smart. Donna grew up in Wewoka, Oklahoma and graduated from Wewoka High School and later attended Seminole Junior College. She had been a resident of Seminole County for over 80 years. Donna loved her faith, family and friends. She especially loved her Friday night Senior Citizen dances in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Donna was a longtime secretary at the First United Methodist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma, former pharmacy tech at Bestyet Pharmacy and was an agent at Dewey Wright real estate. Donna married James L. Crawford on November 23, 1949, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. They were married 58 years before his death on October 15, 2007. Together they raised four children, RoseMary Crawford of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Jamie Crawford Clement of Spokane, Washington, Terrie Crawford Hudson (now deceased) and Phillip Keith Crawford of Seminole, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren; Gail West, Lisa Kuhns, Kyle Bennett, Kaleigh Clement, Teryn Clement Heredia, Clay Crawford and Kelsey Sue Crawford and three great grandchildren; two sisters Bernice Lay and Melba Holly both of Wewoka, Oklahoma and her brother Allen Smart of Texas. Funeral services will at 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Strothers Historic Chapel inside Maple Grove Cemetery with Linda Puckett officiating.
