Donna Bergen

Donna Bergen, 52, Del City, Oklahoma resident died, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Del City, Oklahoma. Donna was born November 25, 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Homer and Virginia Bergen. Donna grew up in the Maud, Oklahoma area and attended Maud Public Schools. She was a dress shop manager and a hostess at a restaurant. Donna enjoyed the summer. She loved the sun, going to the lake, fishing, and tent camping.  Some of her fondest memories growing up were camping trips at Lake Murray and in the Kiamichi mountains where the family would meet the Texas cousins every summer. Donna loved her family and friends, and was always the life of the party. Donna attended and was a member of the St. Louis Baptist Church in St. Louis, Oklahoma, where she was saved in January 1973. Donna is survived by her parents; Homer and Virginia Bergen of Shawnee, Oklahoma, her sister, Cindy Bergen Guinn and her husband B.J. of Shawnee, Oklahoma, her children; Miranda Groves and her husband KC of Paden, Oklahoma, Zach Cheatham of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Daniel Cheatham of Prague, Oklahoma; grandchildren Colten White, Tynslee White, Kahle Groves, Bob Groves, Adelene Cheatham, Bentley Cheatham; nieces and nephews; Jessica Pospisil, Jeremiah Pospisil, Jarrett Guinn and Randi Guinn, Drew, Asher, and Emmy Guinn and Jett and Phoenix Novotny, also by her loving caregiver and close friends Don “ Pops” Hullett and Rob Peters, whom she also considered her family. The family will be having a Private Family Service in honor of Donna. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
