Doneva Armstrong

October 14, 1952 — April 16, 2011

Doneva June Armstrong, 58, “walked-on” at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on April 16, 2011 with family at her bedside. Doneva was born on October 14, 1952 in Phoenix, Arizona to Albert and Cleda (Rhodd) Curley.  She was a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Tribe and of the Catholic Faith. Survivors include her mother, Cleda (Rhodd) Curley of Maud, Oklahoma, daughter and son-in-law: Tina and Thomas McGill, two sons, Chris Scroggins and Bobby Armstrong, three grandchildren, Addie, Tasha and Trey McGill, brother, Albert Curley, Jr. and sister and brother-in-law; Phyllis Kueneman and Phillip Welch all of Maud, Oklahoma.  Doneva was preceded in death by her father, Albert Curley, Sr. the father of her children, Robert “Peck” Armstrong, sister-in-law, Rosie (Harjo) Curley and a niece Janet Harmon.  The family plans to honor Doneva with a memorial service at a later date.
