Donald Lee Lester, 82 Seminole resident, Donald Lee Lester passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 82. Don was born on October 27, 1930 in Decatur, Texas to parents, Howard Lester and Lottie Ann (Allen) Lester. Don lived in northern Kentucky before moving to Cromwell, Oklahoma; 36 years ago he moved to Seminole, Oklahoma. Don retired as shop Forman for Square D Company where electrical boxes and supplies are manufactured. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Seminole, Oklahoma where he served as an elder and sang in the church choir. He was a Master Mason 32nd Degree and a member of the Seminole Masonic Lodge. He also served as a Corpsman in the United States Navy. Don married Shirley Mae (Giese) Lester who preceded him in death on May 2, 2006. He later married Rita (Burkhart) Lester on July 21, 2007. Don is survived by his wife of the home; Rita Lester, four sons; Michael Lester of Martinez, Georgia, David Lester of Evans, Georgia, Daniel Lester of Hebron, Kentucky, James Lester of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, three stepchildren; Larry Grisham, Terry Grisham and Karen Anson all of Seminole, Oklahoma. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Robbie, Heather, Jason, Katherine, Patricia, Nathaniel, Zachariah and 12 great grandchildren Madelyn, Gavin, Mathew, Abigail, Carly, Grant, Charles, Zoe, Alexander, Kaleb, Sophia, Ethan and one on the way. Don was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Shirley Lester. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Pence officiating. Burial will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens of Seminole, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers are: Phillip Morris, John Reeves, James Lester, John Nickleson Daniel Lester and David Lester. Honorary bearer will be Michael Lester. There will be a visitation with the family on Wednesday March 27, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Services under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma.
