Longtime Seminole resident Donald Edward Green passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at his residence at the age of 79.rnrnHe was born on February 3, 1928 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Robert Whitfield and Birdie Dee (Clark) Green. rnrnHe married Loloa (Whitson) on April 15, 1988 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas; she survives him of the home.rnrnHe was a jet engine mechanic at Tinker Field for fifteen years; he later worked for Seminole County District 3 and was a ranch foreman. He served in the Merchant Marines and the Army Air Corp during WWII and was a member of the Twin Oak Baptist Church.rnrnHe is survived by his wife, Loloa Green of the home, four sons: Forrest Green of Gage, Oklahoma, Edward Green of Jay, Oklahoma, Terrel Green of Texhoma, Oklahoma and Keith Green of Moore, Oklahoma, three step-sons: Monte Horton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Greg Horton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Michael Horton of Norman, Oklahoma, two daughters: Gaylia Green of Seminole, Oklahoma and Doneta Hill of Bethel, Oklahoma, two brothers: Raymond Green of Jackson, California and Rheuben Green of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, and one sister: Cuba Coates of Seminole, Oklahoma. He is also survived by thirty grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Roy Green, four sisters: Geneva Holmes, Rheba Burkhalter, Margie Blackburn, Leta Faye Wiggins and two brothers: Robert Clark Green and Roy Green.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at 10:30am at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ronald Chastine officiating. rnrnrn Funeral Information: July 30, 2007, 10:30 AM
