Donald Leroy Goodnight, 49, longtime Seminole resident died Sunday, August 16, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Donald was born July 6, 1960 in Tulare, California to John Leroy and Alice Irene (Long) Goodnight. Donald graduated from Varnum High School in 1978 and served his country in the Oklahoma National Guard from 1977 to 1983 and attained the rank of Spec. 4. Donald worked as a Pulling Unit Operator for Mills Well Service of Seminole. He has worked for Mills for over 27 years. Donald loved boating, fishing and camping. His father Leroy Goodnight of Seminole, Oklahoma, survives Donald. One Son Brandon Goodnight of Wewoka, Oklahoma and a daughter Clarissa Goodnight of Wewoka, Oklahoma and one brother David Goodnight of Wewoka, Oklahoma. His Mother, Alice Goodnight, preceded Donald in death. Services are scheduled for 10:30A.M, Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will take place at the Goodnight Family Cemetery.
