Donald Eugene Fry

Donald Eugene Fry, age 47 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 18, 2011. No memorial service is scheduled at this time, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa. Don was born on August 18, 1964 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Ronald Fry and Rita (Baker) Fry.  His was a graduate of Shawnee High School and worked as a bricklayer.  He was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers, Local No. 5.  He also proudly served in the U.S. Military.  Don enjoyed family time, watching movies with the kids, and camping with family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his companion and best friend, Viola Rhodd Jones of the home; one step-daughter, Marisa Brown Whitley and her husband, Josh and two grandchildren, Jaylin and Tyler Whitley, all of Konawa; his father, Ron Fry and step-mother, Helen and family, all of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; and one uncle, Gary Fry and family of Konawa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Fry, and his sister, Debbie Fry.
