Don Allen Mullen, 71, longtime Seminole resident died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Don was born on November 18, 1938 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Ernest and Beola (McMillian) Mullen. Don lived in Vanoss, Prague and Maud before moving to Seminole. He graduated from Maud High School and served in the U.S. Army as a Private for two years. Don worked for Doc Duvall for over 40 years in Home construction and for a time in the oilfields around Seminole. Don was a collector of Antique tools and loved football. His brother Kent Mullen of Shawnee, Oklahoma survives Don. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 3, 2010 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Rest Haven Memorial Garden, with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Casket bearers will be Tim Poplin, Larry Spoonemore, David Hargis and Johnny Meeks. Honorary bearer will be J P “Doc” Duvall.
