Don Lee Hill , age 70 and a resident of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
A wake service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 12th at Sand Creek Baptist Church near Wewoka, Oklahoma, and funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Sand Creek Baptist Church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, and burial will follow at the Walton Family Cemetery. Casket bearers are Ron Daniels, Vicente Aquilar, Felipe Aquilar, Anthony Eckles, Brad Collinsworth, Finis Howell, Sunhawk Hill, Nashoba Hill, Hatuk Hill and Tuska Hill.
Don was born on June 15, 1949 in Camp Carson, Colorado to Harry and Sarah Ann (Mingus) Hill. He worked as an upholsterer. He loved riding down dirt roads, listening to country and western music, and eating barbeque. He was a father figure to many, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His best buddy and brother, was Brad Collinsworth.
He is survived by one son, Randall Perkins of Norman; one step-son, Ricky Murphy of Tulsa, Oklahoma; he was the king of four queens (daughters), Jalena Hill of Konawa, Felicia Hill of Sasakwa, Tessa Hill and Shawana Hill, both of Norman, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Rosanne Duke of Tipton, Oklahoma; three brothers, David Hill and Kallo Hill, both of Sasakwa, and Anthony Bitseedy of Arizona; three sisters, Rita Jewks of Utah, Shondra Anderson and Freida Barragan, both of Oklahoma City; two aunts, Christa Lou of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Fern King of Konawa; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Sarah Hill; his wife, Bessie (Duncan) Hill; four grandsons; and an infant brother.
