Donald George “Don” Breedlove, 78 years old, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed from this life on October 23, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on May 11, 1932, to parents Ben and Ella (Wooley) Breedlove. Don was the owner of Breedlove Grocery, as well as Breedlove Construction, and will be fondly remembered throughout the community as a friendly face who brightened their day with coffee and conversation. Prior to this, he worked as a butcher in Los Angeles, California and Phoenix, Arizona. Don was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Vernon, Herman and Bill. He is survived by his loving wife of forty-six years, Janice (Smithee) Breedlove of the home. Additional survivors of his family include a brother, Jim Breedlove and his wife, Ruth; daughter, Gaylan Gibson, and her family, husband Charles, and children, Geoffrey, Curtis, and Jonathon; son, Dale Breedlove, and his family, wife Sharon, and children, Jade, Christian, Jennifer, Brandon, and Emily; son, Mark Breedlove, and his family, Michelle, Allen, Buddy, and Amanda; daughter, Marla Cullison and her family, children, Ryan and Max; son, Brett Breedlove, and his family, wife Lori, and children, Brittney and Brook; nineteen great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at the First Assembly of God Church, located at 420 East Evans Ave. in Seminole, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma. Rev. Harold Turner and Tommy Farrow will officiate the service. Casket Bearers will be: Geoff Gibson, Curtis Gibson, Sam Gibson, Ryan Cullison, Ryan Martin and David Jones. Honorary Bearers will be: Christian Hames, Brandon Neal, Lewis Gillespie, Buzz Gillespie, Bill Gillespie and Kevin Jones.
