Linda ?Diane? Miller, 53 year-old life long Seminole resident and business woman passed from this life Sunday, November 11, 2007 at Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born August 28, 1954 in Seminole to parents Verlin Mae (Weston) Miller and Archie Dale Miller. As a young girl she had been a member of the Order of Rainbow Girls where she was a past Worthy Advisor. Diane attended Seminole High School where she graduated in 1972. She continued her education at Seminole State College where she earned her Associate Degree, and then she earned her Bachelor Degree in Arts from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. In 1998 Diane took over the family business ?Miller Plant Farm? in Seminole. Her family had established the business in 1939 and she continued the business operations even through her lengthy battle with cancer. Diane had served as president twice for the Oklahoma Green House Association where she had earned a lifetime membership and the grower of the year award. She was also a longtime member and had served in the Children?s Department at First Baptist Church in Seminole, teaching Sunday school and Children?s Church. Diane would also attend the Seminole Congregational Methodist Church on Goodhope Road.rnrnAlthough Diane never married she did have a true love and that was Oklahoma State University. She loved to kid and chastise her family and friends who were avid O.U. fans.rnrnDiane leaves to cherish her memory her parents Archie Dale Miller and Verlin Mae (Weston) Miller of Seminole, Oklahoma. Her paternal grandmother, Alice Miller of Seminole, Oklahoma, two brothers and their spouses, David and Anna Miller of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Glen and Stacey Miller of El Reno, Oklahoma and one sister, Barbara Bilbrey of Fort Worth, Texas.rnrnOther survivors include her nephews, Chase and his wife Tina Bilbrey of Dallas, Texas, Andrew Miller of El Reno, Oklahoma and niece, Erin Miller of El Reno, Oklahoma. Also surviving is a great nephew, Korbin Bilbrey of Dallas, Texas and a host of other family and dear friends.rnrnDiane is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, W.C. Miller her maternal grandparents, J. Henry Weston and Virgie (Goff) Weston and one niece Emily Ann Miller.rnrnThe family will receive friends at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2007.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the First Baptist Church located at 420 Reid Street in Seminole. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole. Congregational Methodist Minister Dan Grimes will officiate the service.rnrnCasket bearers will be: Lee Dixson, Mike Minihan, Tim Minihan, Chase Bilbrey, Martin Prieto, Dr. Mike Snelly, Miguel Gomez and Andrew Miller.rnrnHonorary bearers will be: Kim Boydston, Kathy Zeller, Jessica Gomez, Manuela Prieto, Veronica Prieto, JaNene Day, Marilyn Stewart and Betty Oliver.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.rn Funeral Information: November 14, 2007, 11:00 AM
