Derrell Seigler

Derrell Seigler, 68 Robert Derrell “Dick” Seigler, 68 year old former Konawa, Oklahoma resident passed from this life on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Derrell was born March 9, 1947 in Olney, Texas to parents, Alvis Seigler and Robbie Lucille (Vann) Seigler. He attended Konawa Schools and went on to serve in the United States Army. Derrell married Judith Gale “Judy” Megee on July 30, 1968 in Konawa, Oklahoma. Derrell was a truck driver for R & L Carriers. Derrell is survived by his wife Judy of the home; two sons, Donnie Seigler of Denver, Colorado, Darin Seigler and his wife Lisa of Denver, Colorado; one daughter, Tracey Clark and her husband Tony of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three sisters, Ginger Collins and her husband Jack of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Dorothy Dennison and her husband John of Witchita Falls, Texas, Joyce Atkinson of Texas; sister-in-law Betty (Megee) Dooley and her husband Bob Dooley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Amanda Seigler, Zachary Polk; one great grandchild, Carman Good all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Derrell was preceded in death by his parents Alvis and Robbie Seigler; one brother, Leonard Seigler and one sister, Gail Johnston. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma with Military Honors. Burial will be at Vamoosa Cemetery, south of Seminole on Highway 99. Serving as casket bearers are: Donnie Seigler, Darin Seigler, Zachary Polk, Jeff Manovosky, Brandon Duck and Seth Duck. Honorary casket bearers are: Steve Duck, Darrell Mackey, Logan Snow and Denver Duck. Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma.
