Denver Carlock Malone passed away April 20, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born July 7, 1946 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Lewis Malone and Vina Deial. He joined church at an early age and later united at Open Arms of Faith Church. Denver had served his country in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge in 1972. He graduated from Rose State College with an associate degree in Criminal Justice. He worked for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. Denver was a lifetime member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans. He was also a member of the Livingston Masonic Lodge #175. Denver married Tommie Jean Hamilton on May 26, 1973 and two children were born to this union, Timothy and Tiffany. He loved family and friends and the outdoors. He enjoyed music, especially Jimi Hendrix, watching westerns, eating and drinking coffee. Denver is survived by his wife Tommie of the home, sons: Albert Green and Steven Green of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Timothy Malone of Moore, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Kammie Chambers, Kaden Deguzman, Marcus Malone, Kourden Malone Webb, Tyree Nicholson, great-grandchildren; Ky’Den Chambers and Kaebri Chambers, brothers Richard Cochran and Cleopatra of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Bennie Cochran and Juanita of Seminole, Oklahoma, sisters; Tillie Mae Thomas of Spencer, Oklahoma, Dora and Buster Thomas of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Lu’Retta Hornsby and Darrel of Wewoka, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Tiffany that he loved dearly, five sisters and one brother. Graveside services for Denver will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2020, at St. Matthews Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor B.G. Renfro officiating.
