Dennis Charles Harviston, age 64, passed away at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma on July 9, 2019. Dennis was born October 4, 1954 in Liberal, Kansas to parents Russell Claydean Harviston and Vinnie Lee (Middleton) Harviston. He was a high school graduate and a private in the United States Marine Corps. He married Anita Lively on February 8, 2000 in Sheraton, Texas. Dennis was a wheat farmer most of his life and he was most comfortable on a tractor. He enjoyed fishing, farming and watching westerns on television. He was a great Dad and Papa. Dennis is survived by his wife Anita of the home, sons; Jimmy Adams of Sayre, Oklahoma, Jamey Adams of Seminole, Oklahoma, Jason Adams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Jacob Adams of Seminole, Oklahoma, daughters; Leilani Roberts and her husband Greg of Canton, Oklahoma, April Pittman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Angel Hooker and her husband Willie of Maud, Oklahoma, his brother; Ronnie Harviston of Minot, North Dakota, his sisters; Teresa Harviston of Enid, Oklahoma and Becky Green of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and 18 grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; Dennis (D.J.) Harviston, Jr. and his daughter; Misty Harviston. The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.
