Delores Jean (Latta) Minihan, 84, passed away Sunday April 8, 2018, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born April 1, 1934, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to James and Alma Latta. Delores grew up west of Seminole in the Amerada Switch Oil Camp, attended Seminole Schools and graduated from high school in 1952. It was there she met her future husband Edward Minihan. After spending one year at East Central College, she was employed at Bell Telephone Company as a Switch Board Operator. Delores married Edward Minihan in 1954, and moved to Jackson, Mississippi with Amerada Oil Company. After several moves they landed in Fort Worth, Texas and have lived there for the last forty years. Delores enjoyed reading, gardening and was an excellent cook. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ed Minihan, daughter Kelvie Denise, and her son Edward Dean Minihan and his wife, Shelley; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Betty Jane Nolte. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday April 23, 2018, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Seminole, Oklahoma.
