Delores Jean (Thlocco) Haynes

Delores Jean (Thlocco)  Haynes, 80 year old life-long Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life to be with the Lord on March 10, 2022, in Oklahoma City, at OU Medical Center.  She was born on July 10, 1941, to Bunny Thlocco and Josephine Harjo of Wewoka, OK.  Delores was a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma.

On March 31, 1969, Delores married the love of her life, William (Bill) Haynes. They were married for 59 years, until the passing of Bill in February 2019.  In their 59 years of marriage they had 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls.  In 2012 they suffered the loss of their middle boy, Martin Haynes.  In 2017 they again suffered the loss of their baby girl, Wendy Cecil.

Left to cherish their memory are Serena Vigil of Seminole, OK, Latrisha and husband, Paul Allen of Rock Away Beach, Missouri, Marty Haynes and Billy Haynes of the home.  Throughout the years she added to her heart William and Angela Snyder, Anthony and Stephanie Tiger and Juan and Maranda Jiminez.  Delores is survived by 6 sisters, 1 brother, a host of grandkids, great grandkids and many other family and friends.

Delores was preceded in death by her mother, father, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Delores and Bill never met a stranger.  When you saw one you knew the other was close by.  She loved with her whole heart.

Pallbearers will be Paul Allen Jr., John Allen, Josh Allen, Jerry Haynes, William Allen and Adrian Vigil.  Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Vigil, Derek Vigil, Marty Haynes, Billy Haynes, Paul Allen Sr, Jon Gates, Anthony Tiger and William Snyder.

A wake service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.  Eric Thlocco and Kevin Fox will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma.  Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
