Deborah Billie

Deborah Denise Billie, 51 year-old, lifelong Seminole resident passed from this life on Thursday, October 22, 2009 in Seminole, Oklahoma.  She was born September 18, 1958 in Claremore, Oklahoma to parents Thomas Lee Billie and Edna (Johnson) Billie. Deborah graduated from Strother High School in 1978.  She is also a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. She leaves to cherish her memories her father, Thomas Lee Billie, Sr. of the home; one son, James Billie of the home; six brothers, Thomas Billie, Jr. of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Lester L. Billie, Sr. of Seminole, Oklahoma, Dannye E. Billie of Edmond, Oklahoma, Dennis A. Billie of Seminole, Oklahoma, Keith W. Billie, Sr. of Konawa, Oklahoma and Jimmy L. Wise of Derby, Kansas; six sisters, M. Frances Pierce of Seminole, Oklahoma, Lisa Billie of Seminole, Oklahoma, Andrea A. Davis of Seminole, Oklahoma, Becky L. Pemberton of Konawa, Oklahoma, Audrey M. Davis of Seminole, Oklahoma and Wanda L. Coody of Konawa, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Spring Elizabeth Billie of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Gavin Wotko Billie of the home; her companion of 11 years Marty Kalinich; she is also survived by a host of other family and dear friends. Deborah is preceded in death by her mother, Edna Mae Davis and by one sister, Mary Louise Billie. A wake service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2009 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Bill Hobia and Rev. Houston Tiger will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Casket bearers will be: Paul Faxson, Tony Perry, Rick Pemberton, R.D. Coody, Lester Billie Jr. and Stuart Pierce. Honorary bearers will be: Travis Lena, Brandon Lena, Craig Lankford, Keith Billie Jr., David Pierce, Tyler Harjo, Dakota Harjo and Sterling Harjo.
