David William Walker, III, age 37 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away January 5, 2018. A memorial service will be held for him 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Community Center in Konawa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. David was born March 11, 1980 in Houston, Texas to David William Walker, Jr. and Jalasca “Joy” (Neumeyer) Walker. He graduated from Whitesboro High School in Texas, and was a “Jack of all trades”. He was an avid outdoors man, and he loved big trucks and semi’s. To him, “the bigger, the better” was his motto. He worked as a derrick hand, oilfield worker, worked in construction, and drove semi-trucks. David will be remember as the one who when he loved, he loved hard, and when he gave, he gave his all. He had a big heart and he loved his family and children very much. He is survived two daughters, Jayzlyn and Barbie Walker; one son, Davin William Walker; his mother, Joy Richard; grandmother, Rose Walker; two sisters, Missy Kelsey and Carolynn Cooper; and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, David Walker, Jr.; grandfather, David Walker, Sr.; and two step-fathers, Carroll Ross and Tim Richard.
