David Lee Vivierrn06/12/1935-01-09-2009rnrnDavid Lee Vivier, age 73, of Ada, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2009, in Valley View Hospital in Ada.rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at Hutche?Chuppa Cemetery in Weleetka, Oklahoma, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa, Oklahoma. Ed George will officiate. Pallbearers are Josh Goodenkauf, Dalton Vivier, Riley Vivier, James George, Todd Jesse, and Glen Gibson. Honorary Pallbearers are Wayne Gray, and Cody Allen.rnrnDavid was born on June 12, 1935, in Rosebud, South Dakota to Paul Vivier and Phoebe (Killsenemyincoolwater) Vivier. He later married Joyce Ann Harjo. David was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church of Konawa, and served in the air force, and he worked as a rough-neck for the oilfield industry.rnrnHe is survived by two sons, Anthony Lee Vivier of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Sonny Paul Vivier of Calvin, Oklahoma; three brothers, Eugene Vivier of Des Moines, Iowa, Miquel Bordeux of Anchorage, Alaska, and Tony Escutia of San Antonio, Texas; four sisters, Bonnie Boltz of Saint Francis, South Dakota, Becky Dillon of Muscatiane, Iowa, and Lupe and Delores, both of Kearney, Nebraska; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.rnrnHe was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Vivier in May, 2002, and by his parents, Paul and Phoebe Vivier.rn Funeral Information: January 10, 2009, 2:00 AM
