David Vernon Morland

David Vernon Morland, 62, lifelong Seminole Resident, died Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Seminole. David was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on November 25, 1954 to Vernon Morland and Jewel (Bramblette) Morland. David attended Varnum Schools just north of Seminole. David attended the Lord’s Community Church in Seminole, and his favorite pastime was fishing. David is survived by his three brothers Larry Morland of Texas, Mike Morland of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Russell Morland of Seminole, Oklahoma, two sisters  Doris Gale Morland of Shawnee, Oklahoma  and Shirley Johnson of Moore, Oklahoma and one nephew Eric Morland , son of Gary Morland, and several other nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Gary Morland and one sister Yvonne Welliver. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Little Cemetery with Jimmy and Nita Moreland officiating. Burial will take place at Little Cemetery. Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma is in charge of arrangements.
