David Anthony “Carl” MeGee, 39 year old lifelong Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life Saturday, January 19, 2019 near El Reno, Oklahoma in an automobile accident. He was born May 13, 1979 in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Duaine Allen MeGee and Nancy Carol (Noteware) MeGee. David was raised in Weatherford and graduated from Weatherford High School. David was a jack of all trades and worked as an automotive repair technician. He loved Nascar, car shows, traveling and hanging out with his friends. Survivors include his mother Nancy MeGee of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one brother, Shane Hunter of Choctaw, Oklahoma; three sisters, Duaina MeGee-Bonner and her husband Shawn Bonner of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Kimberly MeGee Slingerland of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, April “Christy” Griffin of Inyokern, California; nieces and nephews, Edwin Michaels and his wife Danielle, Travis Michaels and his wife Ali, Kendra Conway and her husband Matt, Ashton MeGee, Jessica Slingerland, Braylee MeGee-Bonner, Brennlyn MeGee-Bonner; several great nieces and nephews; maternal uncles, Doug Garren of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Mark Noteware of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Michelle “Shelly” Bishop of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Sue Stuckey of Madill, Oklahoma, Michael Monk of Cullman, Alabama; paternal aunts, Betty Dooley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Judy Sigler of Valley Brook, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and friends. David was preceded in death by his father, Duaine Allen MeGee, paternal grandparents Ray and Sadie MeGee, maternal grandparents George and Trudy Noteware, Marie Noteware, and by three uncles Dean MeGee, Jerrell MeGee and George Noteware Jr. Memorial services are scheduled for 5:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Grace Assembly of God Church in Weatherford, Oklahoma with Pastor Lindell Warren and Pastor Shawn Bonner officiating the service.
