David Cole

David Lee Cole, 63 year-old, longtime Seminole resident passed from this life Thursday, December 31, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He was born October 7, 1946 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to parents David Andrew Cole and Naomi Faye (Griffin) Cole. David graduated from New Lima High School and worked as a truck driver for many years. Survivors include his two daughters and a son-in-law, Teresa and her husband Duane Cherry of Seminole, Oklahoma and Melissa Cole of Midwest City, Oklahoma; the mother of his children, Betty Cole of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one half brother, Mark Cole of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; and a special friend Gina Westphal of Maud, Oklahoma. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma.  Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate the service.
