Seminole resident Daryl Lynn Rhodd passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at his home.
Daryl, the son of Leonard and Colleen (Johnson) Rhodd, was born December 14, 1964, in Houston, Texas. Daryl attended high school at Our Savior Lutheran High School in Houston. Daryl was a truck driver; he drove for J. AM. Distributing in Houston for several years. After moving to Seminole, he went to work as a transit driver for the Citizen Pottawatomi Nation. He enjoyed NASCAR, going to Mt. Scott in Lawton, and he loved camping and sitting around the campfire at Sportsman’s Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmother Johnson; a nephew, Michael Paul; and a niece, Sierra Rhodd.
Daryl is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Montana Nikole Rhodd and Chase, Randi Renee Tamez and Jason; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason Whaley and Victoria, Richard Craig Rhodd and Jamie, and Ryan Lynn Rhodd; grandchildren, McKenzie and Cameron Tamez, Jasper and Avery Rhodd, Ally Roddy, and Alex Whaley; special friend, Stephanie Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Betty Maniscalco and Johnny; brother and sister-in-law, Sam Rhodd and Alice; stephanie’s children, Natalya Ivey, Paislee Diallo, Alexas Oliphant, Bronwyn Puntka; Stephanie’s grandchildren, Xelaia Ivey, Addilynn Oliphant, Dahlia Murphy, and Isaac Diallo; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Services will be Monday, November 14, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Seminole, interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
