Darrel Reeves

Darrel Lyn Reeves, 61 year old long time Seminole County resident passed from this life on Monday, March 30, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He was born April 12, 1953 in Konawa, Oklahoma to parents, Quilla (Pratt) Reeves and Roy Reeves. Darrel lived in Maud and Seminole where he had worked in the oilfield, as a truck driver and in the hay fields. On June 23, 1979 Darrel married Nancy Lee Stidman in Ada, Oklahoma. Darrel is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Reeves of Seminole, Oklahoma; by one son, Justin Reeves of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; by two sisters, Shelba Crist of Athens, Texas, Sylvia Jo Elliott of Glenpool, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Jazminn Lee Parish Gurley, Dasie Lyn Gurley both of Seminole; and a host of other family and dear friends. Darrel is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Reeves who died November 26, 2010; by his mother, Quilla (Pratt) Reeves; by his father, Roy Reeves; and by one brother, Gerald Reeves. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Little Cemetery. Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
