Darlene Roberts

Seminole resident, Darlene Roberts, passed away at her home in Seminole, Oklahoma on December 14, 2024. She was born on December 4, 1967, in Dallas County, Texas. Her parents were Pamela Mae McCullough (Smith) and Victor Allen Garner. She grew up in Carson, California and moved around from California, Texas and then to Oklahoma. She married Loren Wade Roberts on February 11, 2013, in Seminole.

Darlene was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies. She loved watching movies and TV shows, singing and dancing, praying with her grandbabies and really enjoyed decorating her home. She was a fighter and was very resilient. She led with love and had a light to her. She was a great defender and supporter and someone you could always go to for advice and always knew how to turn a bad situation into a better one.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Loren Roberts, her children; Micheal Wayne Roberts and his wife Macie, Andrew Wade Smith, Stephanie Mildred Campbell and Pamela Marie Thomas, her brothers; Victor Garner, Jr. of Boaz, Alabama, David Garner of Cleburne, Texas, John Garner of Grandview, Texas and Richard Hernandez of Washington State, sisters; Donna Nelson and Tammy McCullough both of Shawnee, Oklahoma and her grandchildren; Layne, Jack Jack, Ashtyn, Paisley, Jaden and Cohen. She was preceded in death by her mother; Pamela Mae McCullough, her nephew; Robert Earl Shepard, Jr. and her grandparents; Mildred Jean Baker, Hyrum Allan Smith, Dona Lee Garner and Julius Goldsmith Garner.

Funeral Services for Darlene will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Heath Sapp officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
