Darian "Big D" Trent Johnson

Darian Trent Johnson, aka “Big D” Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at his home at the age of 50. He was born on June 15, 1974 in Oklahoma City to Roderick Paul and Peggy Joyce (Colley) Johnson. He was a graduate of Alex High School. Darian married Hollie Renee Haworth on November 11, 2011 in Arkansas. 

Darian was CLEET certified and loved doing bounty hunting and private security work. Some of his favorite things were listening to blues and gospel music, spending time with family and taking care of his wife and home. He was a football fan, especially the Green Bay Packers. He was a member of Walnut Street Church of Christ. He loved fishing and camping with his brother and nephews. Darian took joy in taking care of his yard and mowing and would call it his “God time”. He enjoyed smoking meat for friends and family. He even did competition smoking when he was younger. 

Darian was preceded in death by his parents and many other treasured family members. 

Darian is survived by his wife, Hollie Johnson of Seminole; his step-children and grandchildren whom he loved very much; two brothers, Chris and Lestie Johnson of Edmond and Tyler and Rayna Johnson of Oklahoma City; sister, Alisa and Rene Johnson of Edmond and numerous nephews, aunts, cousins, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Walnut Street Church of Christ in Seminole, OK with Larry Sneed officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
