Daniel Glen "Danny" "Butch" Raper, 71 year old life long Maud area resident passed from this life Sunday, May 6, 2007 at his home near Maud. He was born May 17, 1935 in Texas to parents, Elgar Glen Raper and Emma (Tarter) Raper.rnrnDanny married Ruby Joyce (Castoe) on May 21, 1958 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.rnrnDanny was a member of the Saint Louis Baptist Church and had retired as a Derrick Man from an oil well service company.rnrnDanny leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Ruby Raper of the home.rnrnTwo sons and a daughter-in-love, Ronald Raper of Maud, Oklahoma and David & Gina Raper of Maud, Oklahoma.rnrnOne daughter, Dana Gribble of Tecumseh, Oklahoma.rnrnThree sisters, Glenda Sue Blain of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Linda "Kay" Springer - Felkins of Seminole, Oklahoma and Carolyn Jo Choat of Harrah, Oklahoma.rnrnFive grandchildren, Abijah, Shana, Amanda, Hannah and Daniel.rnrnDanny is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.rnrnDanny is preceded in death by his mother, Emma Raper, his father, Elgar Raper and his sister Vicky Hurt.rnrnMemorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Saint Louis First Baptist Church.
