Daniel Herriman, age 77 and a life-long resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at his home on April 16, 2015 surrounded by his family under the loving care of Faith Hospice. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Rev. Ed Bray, Pastor of Cross Timbers Church of Konawa will officiate. Pallbearers are Dave Herriman, John Davis, Jacob Calhoun, Danny Herriman, Jeremy Herriman, Dusty Herriman, Justin Boissenin, and Ernie Herriman. Dan was born on February 2, 1938 in Asher, Oklahoma to Dave Herriman and Josie (Davis) Herriman. Dan proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, and he worked as a mechanic for Seminole County. He was also a member of Cross Timbers Church of Konawa. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, one son, Danny Herriman of Konawa; two daughters, Janet Bate of Harrah, Oklahoma and Susie Yott of Konawa; sixteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Josie Herriman; two daughters, Pam Whaler and Josie Herriman; one son, James Herriman; and three brothers, Ernie, Euel, and Darrel Herriman; and four sisters, Florence Yott, Gracie Foran, Ida Ewing, and Opal Jolley.
