Dale Williams was surrounded by family, friends and his loving wife Dorthy and his little buddy, Peanut when he loosed the chains of earth and entered heaven praising his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ on April 13, 2015 He was born to Grace and Oren Williams on September 28' 1930 in Oil City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Fox High School. He married a little barefoot blonde, Dorthy Jean Jordan on September 2, 1950. He was a lifelong oilman beginning around the Healdton area, later working offshore in Louisiana, and returned to the St. Louis area in 1969. He lived on his own land with cattle, oil wells and his wife and family. This was a lifelong dream of his. He accepted Jesus as his Savior at the age of 13. His decision began a beautiful journey through life which included working in the mission fields of Louisiana and serving as a deacon in Louisiana missions and here in Oklahoma. He taught Bible studies to many people and shared Jesus with everyone he met. There was rejoicing in Heaven when he entered because many of his friends are there because he shared his life with them. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Jean Williams of the home; daughter and Son-in-law, Glenna Rene and Tom Jackson of Maud, OK; son and daughter-in-law, Glen Dale and LaVeon Williams of Maud, OK; and daughter and son-in-law Billie and Ken Lowrie of Denton, TX; Grandchildren Bart and Jamie Jackson and great-grandson Jace of Norman, OK; Charessa and Jonathan Svec and great grands Alyssa, Aubrianna and Bryce of Elgin, OK; Joshua and Megan Williams and great grands Jackson Dale and Jules of Tecumseh, OK; Jordan and LaRae LaBouff and granddog, Chip of Hampden, ME and the Texas great grands Timothy, Austin and Faith Ann and the Missouri great grands Brooklyn, Madeline and Logan and Christopher. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Louise Peard and Lucille Bennett, his brother Leon Williams, grandson Tyge Dale Jackson and great grandson Jude Robert Jackson. The life of Dale Williams will be celebrated at 11:00 on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, Oklahoma, where Dale served as a Deacon for many years. Bro. Butch Bradley will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Collins Cemetery located in Saint Louis. The family has requested that donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church, Falls Creek or Children’s Camp Fund in Memory of Dale Williams at P.O. Box 177, Maud, Oklahoma 74854.
