Dale Oliver Phelps

Dale Oliver Phelps, age 77 and a life-long resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away at his home in Konawa on Sunday, February 10, 2019. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.  Rev. Ed Bray will officiate, and Lawrence Hinman will be the pianist. Dale was born July 20, 1941, in Konawa to John W. Phelps and Elsie Marie (Littleton) Phelps.  He attended college and became a real estate manager. He retired from Lockheed Martin after working for them for approximately twenty years.  Dale loved fishing and antique hunting. He is survived by two sons, T. Steven Phelps of Beulah, Colorado, and Todd D. Phelps of Phoenix, Arizona; one daughter, Julie E. Gaskill of Chandler, Arizona; eight grandchildren; and special friend, Bonnie R. Spooner of Konawa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, John C. Phelps.
