Daisy Davis, 81, Tecumseh resident died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Sunset Estates Nursing Home in Tecumseh. Daisy was a former longtime Seminole resident who was born October 1, 1930 in Miami, Oklahoma to Johnny Lee and Lily Lou Cindy (Tackett) Vincent. Daisy was a homemaker and also worked at Pat’s Café in Seminole, Oklahoma for many years. She is survived by four sons, Charles C. McNeill of Bemington, Washington, Gilbert Lee McNeill of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Vince Ray McNeill of Seminole, Oklahoma and James Earl McNeill of Wetumka, Oklahoma; one daughter Betty Jane Douglas and her husband Billy of Chandler, Oklahoma and three step-sons; Lonnie Ray Davis, Howard Davis and Michael Davis all of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lonnie Davis and one son Jimmy E. McNeill. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, with Rev. David Pollard officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be Don Wagstaff, Larry Smith, Justin Smith, Adrian Smith, Bill Douglas and Steven Cheatwood.
