Cynthia E. (Spraker) Galbreath, 69 year-old, lifelong Seminole resident passed from this life Thursday, June 14, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 11, 1942 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Eli Ike Spraker and Sena (Johnson) Spraker. Sadly her father died in World War II. Her mother later married Bud Little who helped raise Cynthia. Cynthia lived most of her life in Seminole with the exception of living one year in Montana. On June 24, 1988 she married James Galbreath in Browning, Montana. The couple returned to Seminole to be near her family. Cynthia was a proud full blood member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma (the Mekusukey Band). She was also a member of Hitchitee United Methodist Church in Seminole County, Oklahoma. Following her High School graduation from Strother High School in 1960, Cynthia went on to further her education and earned her Masters Degree in health education from Oklahoma University. She worked at Wewoka Indian Health Services as an educator. She retired on October 31, 2007. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of almost 24 years, James Galbreath of the home, two sons and daughters-in-law, Wendell Williams and his wife Kaleetha and Raymond Spraker and his wife Wilma all of Seminole, Oklahoma, one brother, Glynn Cornelius of Seminole, Oklahoma, one sister, Thomasene Little Davis of Seminole, Oklahoma, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, nieces, Alison Davis, Sena Yesslith, Jennifer Horne, Elisha Davis, Nephews, Ross Cornelius and Troy Cornelius, great nieces, Isabel Davis and Emmalee Yesslith, great nephews, Kyle Scott, Trenton St. Germaine, Garrett Yesslith, Owen Davis and Seth Horne. As well as a host of other family and dear friends. Cynthia is preceded in death by her biological father, Eli Ike Spraker, her mother, Sena (Johnson) Spraker-Little, her step-father, Bud Little, one son, Randall Williams, two brothers, Gilbert Johnson and Ronald “Oogie” Melton and by two aunts, Bessie Jones and Lizzie Warledo. A wake service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2012 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Dorsey Nero and George Mooney officiating. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the family home place. Casket bearers will be: Troy Cornelius, Kyle Davis, Trenton St. Germaine, Roderick Eli Spraker, Wendell Williams Jr. and Randal Williams Jr. Honorary bearers will be: Glynn Cornelius, Frank Sewell, George Yesslith, Gary Horne, Jaime Macias, Ellis Little and Ross Cornelius.
