Cynthia Jo (Rhodes) Brittain

Cynthia Jo “Cyndy” Jo (Rhodes) Brittain, 59 year old Earlsboro, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  She was born June 8, 1958 in Merced, California to parents Linda Jo (Little) Rhodes and Alvin Lee Rhodes. Cyndy attended Earlsboro Public Schools. Cyndy married Christopher Ray “Chris” Brittain on April 20, 2012 in Wewoka, Oklahoma.  She was a homemaker, she loved to ride horses focusing on dressage training.  Cyndy also enjoyed watching movies and was very much an animal activist. Cyndy leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Chris Brittain of the home; her father, Alvin Rhodes of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one son, Stoney Goldstein of Chicago, Illinois; one daughter, Kelly Goldstein and her husband Carlos Torres of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother, Randy Rhodes and his wife Martha of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Liliana Torres of Oklahoma City; Cyndy's first husband and the father of her children, David Goldstein of Little Rock, Arkansas; and a host of other dear family and friends. Cyndy was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Jo (Little) Rhodes and by one sister, Tinkie Littleton who died December 14, 2017. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.
