Seminole resident Curtis Gene Wolf passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at the age of 69 in Midwest City.
Curtis, the son of Redmond Sr., and Kizzie Kay (Tiger) Wolf, was born, January 18, 1952 in Claremore. He graduated high school at Pleasant Grove. Curtis proudly served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam era. On August 28, 1992, he married Jeanne Grubbs in Shawnee. Curtis worked in the oil field for years, as a driver, driving oil rigs to work sites. Curtis got his qualifications as a machinist, and in 1991 he went to work for the Eaton Corporation, working there until his retirement in 2008. As a young man, Curtis enjoyed hunting; in later years he focused more on fishing. He also enjoyed camping and playing golf, but nothing gave him more joy or pride than spending time with his family.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Redmond Wolf Jr., and Eric Wolf; and three sisters, Charlotte Wolf, Margie Grisso and Karen Harrison.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimpsey Wolf and Timmi Arndt, of Seminole, Joel Luna and Betty of Ponca City, and Anthony Amaya, of Grand Prairie, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Taylor Kay Wolf, of Seminole, Crystal Shirley and Spencer, of Corsicana, Texas, Jennifer Blocker and Garland, of Seminole, and Monica Cherry, of Caddo Mills, Texas; grandchildren, Herlinda Kizzie Gutierrez and John, Angel Thorton, Paul Thorton III, Nigal Blocker, Ajay, Blocker, Anais Wolf, and Kastilynn Arndt; great grandchildren, Leonidas Gutierrez and Kenneth Blocker; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger Wolf and Emma, of Moreno Valley, California, and Johnathan Wolf and Anita, of Seminole; and sister Misselda Wolf and Jeff Yahola, of Wewoka; along with many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, in Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
