Curtis Dale Radford, age 47 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Health Alliance Hospital of Midwest City, Oklahoma. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Vista Cemetery located four miles west of Konawa, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Rev. Mitch Williams and Richard Winters will officiate. Pallbearers are Paul Gilbert, Frank Wilson, Dusty Wilson, Darin Radford, Mike Sharp and Jim O’Neal. Curtis was born November 21, 1968 in Ada, Oklahoma to Shirley (Morrow) Radford and Dale Radford. He graduated from Konawa High School and attended college. He worked as a pumper for Radford Oil and Gas. Curtis loved to go fishing and hunting. He had a great love for animals, and he enjoyed hunting for arrowheads. He is survived by his parents, Dale Radford and wife, Carlon of Konawa and Shirley Lane Radford of Konawa; two brothers, David Lane of West Lake Village, California and Darin Radford of Konawa; two sisters, Laura (Radford) Collins of Houston, Texas and Paula (Radford) Childers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Lane.
